BETOFORM 10

Admixture for stiff concrete and mortar mixes

The admixture is produced as a 5% concentration solution in accordance with TU BY 191604636.001-2012.

An admixture designed for the production of products from stiff concrete and mortar mixes using vibro-pressing, immediate demolding, or extrusion methods. It can also be used in the production of masonry mortars.
PROPERTIES OF THE ADDITIVE
  • BETOFORM 10 is used for the production of concrete paving slabs, concrete kerbstones, hollow-core slabs, concrete wall blocks, and other products made from concrete and mortar mixes based on Portland cement.
  • The BETOFORM 10 admixture is chloride-free and does not cause reinforcement corrosion.
  • The admixture can be used in reinforced and prestressed structures.

USE OF THE ADDITIVE
  • mprovements in product formability and mold filling during vibro-pressing.
  • Prevention of punch adhesion to the surface of molded products.
  • Optimizing the water-cement ratio of the concrete mix without compromising moldability.
  • Increase the density and strength of the products.
  • Upgrading the surface finish category of concrete products.
  • Reduction of time and costs in the vibro-pressing of products, and increased labor productivity.
  • Reduction of the likelihood of efflorescence formation on the surface of the products.
  • Prevention of water separation in mortar mixtures.
  • To ensure the specified level of air entrainment during the production of road concretes.
  • To improve the plasticity of masonry mortars and maintain the workability of the mix.

DOSING THE ADDITIVE
The recommended dosage of the BETOFORM 10 admixture is 0.2–0.4% of the cement mass (in liquid form). The admixture should be introduced as a solution at the working concentration, together with the mixing water.
Using the BETOFORM 10 admixture in colored concrete and mortar mixes enhances the color vibrancy of the finished products.

The dosage depends on the concrete mix composition, the type of products, and the specific characteristics of the structure being built (please consult our specialists).
Occupational Safety and Health

In terms of its effect on the human body, the BETOFORM 10 additive is classified as a low-hazard substance (Hazard Class IV according to GOST 12.1.007-86).
When handling the product, it is necessary to observe health and safety requirements and use personal protective equipment to prevent direct contact with the skin and eyes.

Do not drink, eat, or smoke while working with the additive.

PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE
  • The liquid additive is dispensed in bulk into the customer's clean plastic or metal containers of various capacities.
  • The additive is transported by any mode of transport in accordance with cargo transportation regulations.
  • The additive is stored in enclosed spaces at above-freezing temperatures in hermetically sealed containers.
  • The additive should be protected from direct sunlight, temperatures above 50°C, and freezing.
  • Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
