Group I comprehensive anti-freeze admixture and Group I plasticizer for concrete and mortars.

The admixture is manufactured in accordance with TU 191604636.004-2012 in dry powder form or as a 35% concentration solution.

USE OF THE ADDITIVE
The admixture is intended for the production of lightweight and heavyweight concretes at ambient temperatures as low as -25°C.

PROPERTIES OF THE ADDITIVE
The BETOFROST H25 additive is used in the construction of cast-in-place concrete and reinforced concrete structures, in the manufacture of precast concrete and reinforced concrete products at production facilities and construction sites, and for the preparation of construction mortars within a temperature range of 0°C to -15°C.
When preparing concrete mixtures during the winter period, it is necessary to adhere to the requirements of SNiP 3.03.01-87.

The admixture is chloride-free, suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed structures, does not cause reinforcement corrosion, does not reduce the mixture's working time, does not alter concrete color, and does not cause surface efflorescence.

DOSING THE ADDITIVE
Using the BETOFROST N25 admixture allows for a 10–20% reduction in the initial mixing water content.
The admixture must not be used in reinforced concrete structures containing A600, A800, At600(S, K), or At800 grade reinforcing steel.
The admixture is most effective when added together with the mixing water.
The recommended dosage of BETOFROST N25 is 1.0–5.0% of the cement mass (calculated based on the dry admixture content).
The dosage depends on the forecast minimum ambient temperature and the required workability of the concrete mix.
The dosage may vary depending on cement consumption, the water-cement ratio, and the concrete curing and hardening conditions.

Occupational Safety and Health

In terms of its effect on the human body, the additive is classified as a low-hazard substance (Hazard Class IV according to GOST 12.1.007-86).
When handling the product, it is necessary to observe sanitary and hygienic requirements and use personal protective equipment to prevent direct contact with the skin and eyes.

Do not drink, eat, or smoke while working with the additive.

PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE
  • The liquid additive is dispensed in bulk into the customer's clean plastic or metal containers of various capacities.
  • The dry additive is packaged in 25 kg bags.
  • The additive is transported by any mode of transport in accordance with cargo transportation regulations.
  • The additive is stored in enclosed spaces at above-freezing temperatures in hermetically sealed containers.
  • The additive should be protected from direct sunlight, heating above 50°C, and freezing.
  • Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
  • The additive is a non-flammable liquid.
