The construction of monolithic and precast-monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete structures and buildings. The manufacture of precast concrete and reinforced concrete products at construction sites and casting yards.
APPLICATIONBETOFROST M15 is added to the concrete mix during preparation to prevent freezing during transportation, placement, and before the start of heat treatment or thermal curing.
When preparing concrete mixes in winter, the requirements of SNiP 3.03.01-87 must be followed.
The admixture is recommended for use at ambient temperatures from 0°C to -15°C in combination with a Group I plasticizer (Betoplast brand).
BETOFROST M15 does not reduce the pot life of the mix, does not change the color of the concrete, and does not cause efflorescence on the concrete surface.
ADMIXTURE PROPERTIESBETOFROST M15 is used in the construction of monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete structures, the manufacture of precast products at casting yards and construction sites, and for the preparation of mortars in the temperature range from 0°C to -15°C.
USAGE
When using BETOFROST M15, it is recommended to reduce the amount of mixing water by using a Group I plasticizer.
The admixture is most effective when introduced together with the mixing water.
DOSAGE- The recommended dosage of BETOFROST M15 is 1.0–4.0% of the cement weight, calculated as dry matter.
- The dosage depends on the predicted minimum ambient temperature, concrete mix design, and water-cement ratio.
- The dosage may vary depending on cement consumption, water-cement ratio, and the curing conditions of the structure.
Design minimum concrete curing temperature, °C | Additive dosage, % by mass of cement, calculated on a dry basis*** |
0 ÷ -5°С | 1,0-2,0% |
-5 ÷ -10°С | 2,0-3,0% |
-10 ÷ -15°С | 3,0-4,0% |
* – Dosage is specified for an average heavy concrete mix with a cement consumption of 400 kg/m³ and a water-cement ratio of 0.4.
The admixture does not contain chlorides, can be used in reinforced and prestressed structures, and does not cause reinforcement corrosion.
The dosage depends on the concrete mix design, product type, and specific structural features (Consult with our specialists).
