BETOPLAST LC

Admixture for concretes and mortars, Group I plasticizer, new generation

The admixture is produced in liquid form in accordance with TU 191604636.006-2015 as a commercial concentration solution.

Group I accelerator based on polycarboxylates (hyperplasticizer).
ADMIXTURE PROPERTIES
THE ADMIXTURE IS APPLIED IN THE PRODUCTION OF HEAVY-WEIGHT AND LIGHT-WEIGHT CONCRETE, MORTARS, IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF CAST-IN-PLACE AND PRECAST-MONOLITHIC CONCRETE AND REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURES AND BUILDINGS, SELF-LEVELING FLOORS, AND IN THE MANUFACTURE OF PRECAST CONCRETE AND REINFORCED CONCRETE PRODUCTS IN PLANT CONDITIONS, BATTERY MOLDS, AS WELL AS AT CONSTRUCTION SITES AND CASTING YARDS.

APPLICATION OF THE ADMIXTURE
  • Production of all concrete classes by compressive strength (up to C40/50) from high-slump (flowable) concrete mixes without component segregation or reduction of strength characteristics.
  • Reduction of cement consumption by 10-15 % compared to concrete without admixtures.
  • Increase in density, frost resistance, water tightness, and other physical and mechanical properties of concrete.
  • Increase in initial and final concrete strength.
  • Reduction of mixing water by up to 20 % compared to concrete without admixtures.
  • Reduction of time required to achieve shipping (stripping) strength.
  • Reduction of energy costs for steam curing of products due to the intensification of the binder hydration process.
  • Improvement of the concrete surface category.

ADMIXTURE PROPERTIES
  • As an admixture that accelerates the hardening of concretes and mortars, it is used in the preparation of all types of concretes and mortars based on Portland cement and its varieties in cases where rapid strength gain is required.
  • BETOPLAST LC admixture is used for the production of all types of Portland cement-based concretes: self-compacting concretes, precast reinforced concrete (including highly reinforced structures), prestressed products, monolithic concrete structures, light-weight concrete, and industrial floors.
  • BETOPLAST LC admixture does not increase the air content in the freshly mixed concrete, does not alter the color of the concrete, and does not cause efflorescence on the concrete surface.
  • The admixture is suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed structures.
  • The admixture does not induce corrosion of reinforcement or concrete.
  • The admixture contains no chlorides.

USAGE
The use of BETOPLAST LC admixture allows for a reduction in the amount of mixing water by 20-30 % from the initial value.
The effectiveness of the admixture is maximized when introduced together with the mixing water.

ADMIXTURE DOSAGE
  1. The recommended dosage of BETOPLAST LC is 0.6-2.0 % by weight of the commercial concentration solution and depends on the concrete mix design, required workability, structural features of the component, and application objectives.
  2. The admixture contains no chlorides, is suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed structures, and does not induce reinforcement corrosion.
  3. The dosage depends on the concrete mix design, product type, and structural features of the component (Consult with our specialists).

THIS INFORMATION IS FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES. PRODUCT TESTING UNDER PRODUCTION CONDITIONS IS REQUIRED FOR ADMIXTURE IMPLEMENTATION.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

The admixture is classified as a low-hazard substance (Hazard Class IV according to GOST 12.1.007-86) regarding its effect on the human body.
During application, sanitary and hygienic requirements must be observed; personal protective equipment must be used to prevent direct contact with the skin and eyes.

Drinking, eating, and smoking are prohibited when handling the admixture.

PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION, AND STORAGE
  • The liquid admixture is supplied in bulk into the buyer's clean plastic or metal containers of various capacities.
  • The admixture is transported by any means of transport in accordance with cargo transportation regulations.
  • The admixture shall be stored in enclosed premises at positive temperatures in hermetically sealed containers.
  • The admixture may be stored in enclosed premises down to -15 °C in hermetically sealed containers.
  • The admixture must be protected from direct sunlight, heating above 50 °C, and freezing.
  • The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
  • The admixture is a non-flammable liquid.
