- BETOPLAST LC admixture is used in concrete production to increase workability, reduce cement consumption, and accelerate early-age strength development. It is suitable for use in both ready-mixed concrete production and precast concrete manufacturing (including cassette casting systems).
- BETOPLAST LC does not increase the air content of the fresh mix, nor does it alter the concrete's color or cause surface efflorescence. It is chloride-free and suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed concrete structures. The admixture does not cause corrosion of reinforcement or concrete.
USE OF THE ADDITIVE- Production of concrete of all compressive strength classes (up to C40/50) using highly plastic (fluid) concrete mixes, without component segregation or a reduction in strength characteristics.
- Increasing the initial and final strength of concrete.
- Increasing the density, frost resistance, water impermeability, and other physical-mechanical properties of concrete.
- A 10–15% reduction in cement consumption compared to concrete without admixtures.
- Reduction of mixing water by up to 20% compared to concrete without admixtures.
- Reduction of the time required to reach stripping strength.
- Reduction of energy consumption for the heat-and-moisture treatment of products through the intensification of the binder hydration process.
- Upgrading the concrete surface finish category.
- For the production of concrete mixes at sub-zero air temperatures, down to a minimum average daily temperature of -15°C.
DOSING THE ADDITIVEThe recommended dosage of the BETOPLAST LC admixture when used as a plasticizer (strength-gain accelerator) is 1.2–1.6% of the cement mass. When used as a Group I antifreeze admixture, the dosage depends on the forecast temperature and is as follows:

The dosage of the admixture may vary depending on cement consumption, the water-cement ratio, and concrete curing conditions. Using the admixture allows for a 20–30% reduction in the initial mixing water content.
The additive is most effective when administered with water.
