- Betoplast Lux is used in the production of all types of Portland cement-based concrete requiring enhanced strength, frost resistance, and water impermeability. The use of the admixture does not impair the workability retention of the concrete mix; in fact, it improves retention compared to conventional plasticizers.
- Betoplast Lux does not increase the air content of the fresh mix, does not alter the concrete's color, and does not cause surface efflorescence.
- The admixture is chloride-free and suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed concrete structures.
- It does not cause corrosion of reinforcement or concrete.
PROPERTIES OF THE ADDITIVE- Betoplast Lux is used in the production of all types of Portland cement-based concrete requiring enhanced strength, frost resistance, and water impermeability.
USE OF THE ADDITIVE- Production of high-strength concrete (C50/60 and above) using highly flowable (fluid) concrete mixes, without coarse aggregate segregation and at a low water-cement ratio.
- Increasing mix workability from P1 to P5 or higher without loss of strength at minimal admixture dosages.
- Increasing the initial and final strength of concrete, as well as enhancing its density, frost resistance, water impermeability, and other physicochemical properties.
- Reduction in cement consumption by 20–25%.
- Improvement of the properties of pumpable concrete mixes (prevents mix segregation and does not reduce the mix's working life compared to concrete without the admixture).
- Upgrading the concrete surface category.
- Reduction of energy consumption (during vibration and heat-and-moisture treatment) and labor requirements for placing and compacting the concrete mix.
- Increased workability retention of the concrete mix compared to conventional plasticizers.
DOSING THE ADDITIVEThe recommended dosage of the BETOPLAST LUX admixture is 0.2–0.8% of the cement mass (in liquid form). Under special conditions or specific requirements, the dosage may be increased to 1.0% without compromising concrete strength. The dosage depends on the concrete mix composition, required workability, the specifics of the structure being produced, and the intended application (please consult our specialists).
Using BETOPLAST LUX allows for a reduction in mixing water by 30% or more compared to the initial amount. For concretes with a low water-to-cement (W/C) ratio (below 0.35), the mixing time should be extended by 1.5 to 2 times to ensure more complete distribution of the admixture and full activation of its properties.
The additive is most effective when administered with water.
