- The BETOPLAST NL admixture is used in the production of all types of Portland cement-based concrete, including cast-in-place construction, precast concrete plant operations, and cassette casting. At the optimal dosage, it accelerates the rate of strength gain required for release from the formwork.
- The admixture does not increase the air content of the fresh concrete mix, does not alter the concrete's color, and does not cause surface efflorescence.
- It is chloride-free and suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed concrete structures.
- The admixture does not cause corrosion of reinforcement or concrete.
USE OF THE ADDITIVE- Production of high-strength concrete (up to C40/50 and higher) using highly flowable (fluid) concrete mixes with a low water-cement ratio.
- Increasing the mobility of the composition from P1 to P5 and more without loss of strength.
- Increasing the initial and final strength of concrete, as well as enhancing its density, frost resistance, water impermeability, and other physicochemical and mechanical properties.
- Reduction in cement consumption by 20% or more.
- Improvement of the properties of concrete pumped by a concrete pump (prevents mix segregation).
- Upgrading the concrete surface finish category.
- Reduction of energy consumption (during vibration and heat-and-moisture treatment) and labor requirements for placing and compacting the concrete mix.
- Increased workability retention of the concrete mix compared to conventional plasticizers.
DOSING THE ADDITIVEThe recommended dosage of BETOPLAST NL is 0.5–1.5% by weight of cement. The dosage depends on the concrete composition, the intended application, and service conditions. The optimal dosage is in the range of 0.8–1.0% by weight of cement.
Using the BETOPLAST NL admixture allows for a 20–30% reduction in the initial mixing water content.
The additive is most effective when administered with water.
