- Betoplast SB admixture is used in the production of all types of Portland cement-based concrete, including self-compacting concrete, precast reinforced concrete (including heavily reinforced structures), prestressed concrete elements, cast-in-place concrete structures, lightweight concrete, and industrial flooring.
- Betoplast SB does not increase the air content of the fresh concrete mix, does not alter the concrete's color, and does not cause surface efflorescence. The admixture is chloride-free and suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed structures, as it does not cause corrosion of reinforcement or concrete.
USE OF THE ADDITIVEProduction of high-strength concrete (C30/35 and above) using highly flowable (fluid) concrete mixes with a low water-cement ratio.
Increasing the workability of the mix from P1 to P5 or higher without loss of strength.
Increase in the initial and final strength of concrete; improvement of density, frost resistance, water impermeability, and other physicochemical and mechanical properties of concrete.
Reduction in cement consumption by 15–20%
Improvement of concrete mix uniformity (reduces the tendency of fluid and highly fluid concrete mixes to segregate).
Upgrading the concrete surface category.
Reduction of energy consumption (during vibration and heat-and-moisture treatment) and labor costs associated with placing and compacting the concrete mix.
DOSING THE ADDITIVEThe recommended dosage of the BETOPLAST SB admixture is 0.6–1.2% by weight of cement. The dosage depends on the concrete mix composition, required workability, specific characteristics of the structure being produced, and the intended application.
When using the Betoplast SB admixture, the mixing water content can be reduced by 20–30% relative to the initial amount. The additive is most effective when administered together with water.
