ADMIXTURE FOR NO-SLUMP CONCRETE AND MORTAR MIXES

Complex admixture, new generation Group I plasticizer based on polycarboxylates (hyperplasticizer) and strength gain accelerator.

THE ADMIXTURE IS INTENDED PRIMARILY FOR PRECAST CONCRETE AND REINFORCED CONCRETE PRODUCTS AND STRUCTURES MANUFACTURED IN PRECAST CONCRETE PLANTS, AT CONSTRUCTION SITES, CASTING YARDS, AND IN BATTERY MOLDS.

APPLICATION OF THE ADMIXTURE
Production of high-strength concrete classes (C30/35 and above) from high-slump (flowable) concrete mixes at low water-cement ratios.
Increase in initial and final concrete strength, as well as improvement of density, frost resistance, water tightness, and other physical and mechanical properties of concrete.
Reduction of cement consumption by 10-15 % compared to concrete without admixtures.
Improvement of concrete mix homogeneity (reduces the tendency of flowable and high-slump concrete mixes to segregate).
Improvement of the concrete surface category.
Reduction of energy consumption (during vibration and steam curing) and labor costs during the placement and compaction of the concrete mix.
The admixture contains no chlorides, is suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed structures, and does not induce reinforcement corrosion.

ADMIXTURE DOSAGE
The recommended dosage of BETOPLAST SB is 0.8-1.2 % by weight of cement, based on a 35 % concentration solution.
The dosage depends on the concrete mix design, required workability, structural features of the component, and the application purpose of the structure.

ADMIXTURE PROPERTIES

• BETOPLAST SB admixture is used for the production of all types of Portland cement-based concretes: self-compacting concretes, precast reinforced concrete (including highly reinforced structures), prestressed products, monolithic concrete structures, light-weight concrete, and industrial floors.
• The admixture does not increase the air content in the freshly mixed concrete.
• It does not alter the color or cause efflorescence on the concrete surface.
• The admixture contains no chlorides.
• It is suitable for use in reinforced and prestressed structures.
• The admixture does not induce corrosion of reinforcement or concrete.

USAGE

1. The use of BETOPLAST SB admixture allows for a reduction in the amount of mixing water by 20-30 % from the initial value.
2. The effectiveness of the admixture is maximized when introduced together with the mixing water.
